This is a special event called Express Night hosted by the Oakland Museum and the East Bay Express.
One is called "The Art of Seeing", an exhibition of biological art and illustration, and the other is "Iconic to Ironic--Fashioning California's Identity", which has a lot of clothing design that represents some larger California cultural values, such as they are.
