We drove into Ealing on Monday afternoon to Sarah's. The sun was out and it was definitely warmer than San Francisco was when we left it. I regretted having taken up so much room in my suitcase with a heavy hooded coat, one that it appeared I did not need at all, and I could have used the space for more socks or a larger variety of shirts. I consoled myself with the thought that I had packed a swimsuit, but I could not imagine any situation in which we'd go swimming in the UK, unless someone had access to an indoor pool after a show.
Sarah cooked us delicious pasta and Ollie (of Warmwork) picked up some tall cans of Fosters and we had a wonderful dinner, discussing the orangutans of Indonesia and the borough of Brixton, among other things.
