We met up with friends at the Club Deville and eventually got to Bigsby's around 10 or so. It was uncertain when we'd go on. Mr. Trouserpants were playing: 2 twin brothers and a DJ. I told one of the brothers that we were going on at midnight but as midnight neared, the Tpants kept going. Chris loaded his drums onstage at five til', caught Tpants by surprise or so I heard. A young lady named Diedra asked me to ask her boyfriend, Shane, who was in the bar, to move to Austin from the mic, so I did, and we were invited to smoke and (rumor has it) shoot guns after the show with them.
