adrienne's tour diary for April 29, 2004
We ate Italian food at Bari's near the University of North Texas, where I ate dinner once 8 years ago. After the show, around 1 a.m., we drove 3 hours south on I-20 to Abilene, where we slept for about 4 hours before pushing on to Tucson. Texas is huge....read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

Fayetteville. We had some great Thai food in the downtown area, only a few blocks from the club. The show got started late, around 10:45, with us first and then Pacific UV. Acoustic Ross and his girlfriend, Gloria, drove from Tulsa to the show, which was really cool. The club had wireless access so we all did some online shopping. We also went to a grocery store to get some more snacks for the tri...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

It seemed to take a long time to drive from Columbus to Columbia. Missouri is really green with lots of horses and billboards promoting God's 2004 campaign. We had enough time to check in to our motel, shower, and eat Taco Bell before heading to The Music Caf?? in downtown Columbia. Acoustic Ross opened the show. The Music Caf?? has a really cool soundboard that's up above the ground in a sort of ...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

adrienne's tour diary for April 26, 2004
I woke up at 8 and then again at 10, took a shower and woke everyone else up. Matt had already taken off for work. It was raining outside and started to rain more heavily after we began loading our gear out of Matt's and into the van. Chris G. drove through the rain, got us to a Bob's Big Boy/Starbucks where we ate food off a 1984 menu. The salad bar was all ice berg, carrot slivers, etc. and it h...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

adrienne's tour diary for April 25, 2004
Woke up at 10:50 a.m. and went on the computer. Considered going back to sleep. Stayed awake. Watched a Bob Dylan 1965 tour video and then got some food at a Polish restaurant, Raymunds, sausage and potatoes and pieroges. Got an ice cream afterwards, a flavor called "Sneakers" that is vanilla with Snickers bits in it. I'm not sure where the day went. At 6 Chris W. came to pick us up and accidental...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

adrienne's tour diary for April 24, 2004
We didn't wake up until after 2 p.m. Tonya had left to go see some documentaries and Rob, Dan and I had a lazy afternoon, went to a diner to have breakfast/lunch/dinner around 6 pm. We walked around Greenpoint, to the border with Williamsburg, saw the skyline as the sun went down. Rob has a video from college that he put on, with our bands playing. We watched that, and now Almost Famous is on. Chr...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

It seemed to take forever to get into NYC. We got caught in traffic on the other side of the Holland Tunnel but got to Pianos by 7. We loaded in the equipment, Chris G. headed to Brooklyn, and Chris W., Dan and I ate in Pianos'the catfish tacos were so good. Afterwards, I was dying to walk around and move a little, so we walked in the rain and Mai met up with us too. Around 9 we got back to Pianos...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

Susan and Jake's apartment is so nice'it's great not to be in a motel or sleeping in the van. Wheatie, their cat, is very hospitable and chatty. The train goes by right outside, which is pretty cool. We were awake until about 3:30 a.m., or I was awake until then. I haven't slept as soundly as I did last night since I was about 3. We're about to head to Ohio, though it's very nice here! We loaded ...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

adrienne's tour diary for April 21, 2004
We woke up at 7:30 after going to bed just before 4 a.m. The "full breakfast" was in the lobby but I was warned by Dan not to look in the silver heated trays at the eggs and meat, so I just had some cereal and a bagel, some juice. But maybe he tricked me into not eating the last of the eggs and sausage so he could have it??I drove us as far as Missouri and then Dan took over. Missouri is very gree...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.

20 April 2004

adrienne's tour diary for April 20, 2004
On the drive to Norman, OK, we stopped at a Carl's Jr. in Guthrie, OK and picked up some burgers for dinner, our first fast food so far. Guthrie seemed like a nice town with big houses and bigger front and back yards than I've seen in a long time. Oklahoma City's skyline was visible from the road and there was a crazy looking cloud in the distance morphing as the sun set; Dan and Chris W. tried to...read the rest of this entry and more in adrienne's diary.
